ok, so ~Aeroraver asked me to do a character design for him... so I did, this is the preliminary sketch, shading and more details will come later..

, and I had some coloring tips...
though it's not for digital art
For doing pencil-colored drawings grab a knife, shave off the part you color with on the part you want to color and rub it around a bit, it creates a really soft and dreamy texture like a puff of color.
And just for handyness use a aquarel paintbrush (really soft paintbrush) and keep the shavings in their place or you'll get blue shavings in the place you want it red.
